Band Machine Operator

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a Band Operator to join our manufacturing team in Sikeston, MO.
This is a full time employment opportunity offering competitive pay, benefits and PTO during the first year of employment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
- Adheres to Contech s Employee Expectations
- Completes Pre Shift daily audit
- Select correct sheet type/length based off of daily band schedule.
- Operates Forklift, coil buggy or overhead crane to position sheets at rolls.
- Adjust rolls to form correct diameter.
- Feed band sheet into roll form.
- Spot weld or hand weld various types of fasteners to formed band sheet.
- Paints welds if necessary
- Moves finished product to designated area.
- Completes production/quality control paperwork
- Completes Post shift daily paperwork
- Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Other duties assigned
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
