Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a Band Operator to join our manufacturing team in Sikeston, MO.
This is a full time employment opportunity offering competitive pay, benefits and PTO during the first year of employment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
  • Adheres to Contech s Employee Expectations
  • Completes Pre Shift daily audit
  • Select correct sheet type/length based off of daily band schedule.
  • Operates Forklift, coil buggy or overhead crane to position sheets at rolls.
  • Adjust rolls to form correct diameter.
  • Feed band sheet into roll form.
  • Spot weld or hand weld various types of fasteners to formed band sheet.
  • Paints welds if necessary
  • Moves finished product to designated area.
  • Completes production/quality control paperwork
  • Completes Post shift daily paperwork
  • Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Other duties assigned

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
